don’t take for granted
what appears to be special:
our morning coffee

the harsh and fierce discussions
our blatant presence

don’t take for granted
the smiles and words of wisdom
  our joyful secrets

don’t take for granted
the taste and smell of kissing 
happiness and bliss

V

don’t take for granted 
my love and admiration 
so profound and deep
